$5 Liberty Gold Coin NGC/PCGS MS-63

Be the first to review this product

Minted from 1839-1908, the $5 Liberty Head Gold Coin is the only series in our nation's history to have been minted at all seven different United States Mint branches.

Containing just under a quarter-ounce (.24187) of pure gold, these coins were widely circulated in the late 1800's and early 1900's and most surivors today are extremely worn.  In our opinion, mint condition examples appear to be extremely oversold at current price levels.

The Liberty Head design was created by Christian Gobrecht and features a Liberty head encircled by 13 stars representing the first 13 colonies.

Each coin has been graded by PCGS or NGC and is in Mint State 63 condition.
